'Date a Human' Web Series

I'm currently playing the role of 'Ruthie,' a sultry, futuristic, alien cat-woman, in a comedic web series called 'Date a Human,' directed by Joy Gohring and premiering in March on Babelgum.com. Are those fangs, you ask? Yes. Sultry, futuristic, alien cat-fangs. Meow.

Working with an Oscar winning documentarian...

Take director Errol Morris, add a KFC commercial campaign and a dash of Brooke-eating-a-chicken-sandwich, and you have a super-fun day on your hands. Mr. Morris was fantastic. So was the chicken. Look out for the spot in February 2010!

Filming 'Important Things with Demetri Martin'

Yesterday I had the pleasure of filming a sketch -- a Sherlock Holmes spoof involving authentic corsets, ringlet curls, and a sprawling, mysterious mansion in L.A.'s Hancock Park -- for 'Important Things with Demetri Martin' on Comedy Central. I worked with the hilarious Demetri, Jon Benjamin and Maria Thayer. Here I am in my full period piece regalia with my dear friend -- and master of awesomeness -- director Richie Keen.

International Environmental Film Festival in Paris

The animated film 'The Green Hotel' that I did with Max Joseph and the folks at GOOD Magazine has been selected to screen at the 27th International Environmental Film Festival in Paris in November. C'est merveilleux, n'est-ce pas?

'When Ninjas Attack!'

Back in January, I filmed 'When Ninjas Attack!' with director Jonathan London. Watch as my character Vanessa -- a valley girl who loves manicures and shopping -- learns the way of the ninja and becomes a bad-ass warrior. It's kind of like a comic book come to life.

Back in Utah!

I just landed in Salt Lake City, where I'm filming a pilot called 'Dead Dogs Talking.' I play a quirky, ex-dancer, barista who can communicate with animals. In this episode, my character reluctantly uses her 'gift' to help solve a murder mystery. Working with some fantastic people -- we've got a busy couple of days ahead!
